The Kava Company, founded by Late Frank King Senior in 1999, transitioned from tourism after a fire incident to kava trading. It thrived until 2004, led by Mr. King Junior, then closed due to setbacks. We urge farmers to grow plants for profit, especially in outer islands where they own land. This helps sustain families by providing access to urban resources through kava farming, supporting indigenous subsistence farmers.
